Awards and Recognition

Monthly Growth Mindset Awards- Each month one student per classroom is honored for having a Growth Mindset.  Students are recognized by their teacher, by the principal, and all of our students during a morning awards ceremony.  Students are presented with a certificate and a Fryberger decal.

 

Class and Individual Reading Awards- Each week during the school closure and monthly during regular school sessions, Mrs. Glennan, our librarian recognizes classes and individual students for their reading accomplishments.  Top class readers are awarded with a trophy and individual student top readers are awarded with a crown.

 

Trimester Awards- Students in grades 1st and 2nd may be awarded with a Citizenship Award.  These students have received all O's (Outstanding) on their report card in the areas of Work Habits and Citizenship.

 

Students in grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th may be awarded with a Citizenship Award (see above), Honor Roll, and/or Principal's Honor Roll.  Students receiving the Honor Roll award have an average of 4's on their report card in all academic areas.  Students receiving the Principal's Honor Roll award have 5's on their report card in all academic areas.
